Job summary

Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join as Automotive Service Technicians. This program offers full-time employment and training at participating Kia dealerships, including hands-on experience and support leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Participants will work in fast-paced environments and should have strong diagnostic skills, prior mechanical experience, and a willingness for background checks and drug testing. Monthly Housing Allowance through GI Bill available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and shop foremen.
