Job summary

Southern Veterinary Center, a newly remodeled, fast-paced animal hospital, is seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist for part-time or full-time roles.

You will be the first contact for clients, manage phone calls, check clients in/out, handle cash/credit transactions, communicate with pet owners, coordinate prescription refills with our online pharmacy, and maintain accurate client/patient records while supporting the veterinary team.

Qualifications

• Front desk receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience in veterinary/medical office is a plus.
• Cash handling experience.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answering and directing phone calls.
• Checking clients and patients in and out.
• Handling large cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Communicating with pet owners in person and by phone.
• Managing prescription refills and coordinating with our online pharmacy.
• Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
• Supporting the veterinary team with daily administrative needs.
