Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking flexible kitchen staff to support serving lines, prep, and dishwashing across our programs. Duties vary by state and position, with responsibilities including food preparation, equipment operation, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Candidates should have High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent), ability to follow recipes, and a commitment to food safety. This is an as-needed, on-site role supporting school and community meals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and equipment.
• Maintain FIFO stock; keep cooler/storage racks clean and debris-free.
