Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking dependable kitchen staff to support meal service on an as-needed basis. The role focuses on food preparation, line setup, and ensuring food safety and quality across daily operations.

You will assist in following established recipes, prep ahead for menus, and maintain clean, organized kitchen areas while upholding Opaa!’s service standards. This position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly in small groups.
• Ability to follow standard recipes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of serving lines and ensure foods are held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook and present appealingly.
• Operate equipment with proper certification and maintain clean work areas.
• Handle administrative tasks including cash register duties and meal reconciliation.
• Maintain HACCP records, follow safety rules, and participate in required trainings.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and restock as needed; communicate with Kitchen Manager.
