Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu and recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification as required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; clean kitchen and cafeteria areas.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and keep cooler/storage areas clean.
• Prepare breads and baked goods as required and present to customers.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation.
• Serve items with proper portions and utensils; ensure quality presentation and hospitality.
• Manage serving lines and restock items as needed.
• Handle customer monies and operate cash register; ensure reimbursable meals pass through POS.
