Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support serving lines, food prep, and daily operations on an as-needed basis. You will help set up serving areas, maintain food temperatures, and assist in preparing baked goods as required by the menu plan.

The role involves operating kitchen equipment, keeping areas clean, and supporting HACCP/compliance practices as part of daily duties. Experience preferred; training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Reading comprehension and ability to follow simple instructions, memos, and guidelines.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate with customers and staff.
• Basic math skills for counting, pricing and reconciliations.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to handle transactions.
• Flexibility to perform duties as needed and adapt to varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure foods are held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation per menu and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment with proper certification and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and rotate stock FIFO.
• Assist with administrative tasks and cash handling as required.
