Job summary

Castle VW of Schaumburg is hiring a Vehicle Upgrade Coordinator to bridge service and sales and encourage customers to upgrade to newer models. You’ll engage with customers in service, build rapport and present upgrade options aligned with dealership programs.

You’ll coordinate with service and sales teams, manage leads in the CRM, schedule follow-ups, and stay informed about inventory and current incentives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive sales, customer service, and/or in a dealership upgrade role.
• Strong understanding of automotive sales and service operations.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate between departments.
• Comfort with CRM software and dealership management systems.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with customers who bring their vehicles in for service to identify opportunities to talk about upgrading to a newer model.
• Builds rapport and explains the benefits of upgrading (e.g., newer features, better financing, trade-in equity).
• Presents tailored offers based on customer needs and dealership programs.
• Acts as a liaison between the service and sales teams to capture upgrade leads from service customers and hand them off to sales consultants.
• Coordinates appointments, follow-ups, and communicates opportunities to the rest of the sales staff.
• Uses the dealership’s CRM and data systems to track leads, schedule follow-ups, and manage customer information.
• Stays up to date on vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, and current sales specials.
