Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is hiring for a customer-facing role at the service desk and sales floor. You will engage customers, schedule appointments, and drive parts and service sales to keep customer cars running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, maintaining a neat shop, and following safety and company policies. Prior automotive service or sales experience is a plus; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related automotive service experience preferred.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills to calculate commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in store or on the phone; engages customers and sells parts and service.
• Organizes service desk transactions, work orders, and register activities with accuracy.
• Assists management with customer care, service, and ordering tasks as needed.
• Maintains policy compliance for cash, credit, refunds and returns; addresses issues with management.
