Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a customer-focused service desk associate at our GA store. You’ll engage customers, schedule appointments, and drive parts and service sales while ensuring a peak-running vehicle.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and about one year of related experience. You will handle transactions, perform basic maintenance tasks, and uphold safety and policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related automotive service or sales experience.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for commissions and discounts.
• Excellent verbal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for customers by phone or in-store and upsell parts and services.
• Manage service desk transactions and register sales; maintain vehicle knowledge.
• Assist with customer care, work orders, and OP orders under supervision.
• Enforce cash, credit, refund policies and resolve issues.
• Perform express automotive services: tire mounting, oil changes, and inspections.
• Ensure safety standards and proper procedures are followed.
• Communicate clearly with staff and customers.
• Handle opening/closing duties as a key holder.
• Keep shop organized and neat.
• Follow all company policies and environmental rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
