Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a motivated Service Desk Associate to engage customers, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services that keep vehicles running at peak efficiency.

You will be the first point of contact in-store or by phone, building trust and guiding customers through processes with clear timelines. Responsibilities include managing work orders and register transactions, conducting routine express automotive services, and enforcing safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• One year of related automotive service experience preferred.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for customers on phone and in-store.
• Schedule appointments and sell parts and services to improve car performance.
• Manage service desk and register transactions; maintain organized shop.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, checks, refunds and returns.
• Perform express automotive services (tires, oil, fluids, batteries) and basic inspections.
• Ensure safety procedures and provide clean, safe workplace.
• Communicate with associates, management, and customers effectively.
• Assist in opening/closing duties as needed.
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
