Job summary

Pep Boys Inc is seeking a service-oriented associate to be the first point of contact for customers in-store and by phone. You will schedule appointments, sell parts and services, and support service desk operations to ensure customer vehicles run at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, maintaining a clean shop, and assisting management with daily operations. Some express automotive services and safety procedures are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One year of related experience in the automotive service environment.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math knowledge for commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for customers in-store and by phone; schedule appointments and sell parts and service.
• Manage service desk and register transactions; maintain shop organization.
• Assist management with customer care, work orders, and store operations.
• Communicate policies and processes; address customer inquiries and issues.
• Perform express auto services as assigned (oil changes, tires, inspections, etc.).
