Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage customers across the service desk, sales floor, and register. You’ll use product and service knowledge to meet needs, schedule appointments, and drive parts and services that keep cars running smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and experience in automotive service or sales, with strong communication and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education required and basic math skills.
• Customer service mindset with ability to engage customers.
• Experience in automotive service environment preferred.
• Experience in sales and cashier processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for customers in-store and by phone.
• Schedule appointments and explain processes and timelines; upsell parts and services.
• Handle work orders and register transactions; knowledge of parts and services.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, returns, and refunds; address customer issues.
