Job summary

Pep Boys Inc. is seeking a Service Desk / Retail Associate to engage customers in-store and on the phone, schedule appointments, and sell parts and services that keep vehicles running at peak efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• One year of related automotive service experience.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Basic math concepts and ability to calculate commissions and discounts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for customers in store or on phone; engage customers and sell parts and services.
• Organize and manage service business through work orders and register transactions.
• Assist in customer care, work orders, and store duties under management guidance.
• Follow policies on cash, credit, refunds, and returns; address customer issues.
• Conduct express automotive services such as tire work, oil changes, and inspections.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and the work environment is safe.
• Communicate effectively with associates, management, and customers.
