Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Supervisor, Reconditioning Service to lead vehicle inspections and manage shop staff on a day shift. You will ensure timely completion, proper equipment, training, and adherence to company policies.

Key duties include coordinating workflow, communicating goals with the operations manager, monitoring performance, and using management tools to track production and post charges. A 5+ year supervisory background is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years in vehicle reconditioning or related field.
• Competent supervisory and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and drive standard/automatic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the inspection of vehicles.
• Managing the workflow and activities of the shop employees to ensure that all vehicles are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring employees have the proper equipment and are properly trained.
• Communicating and resolving reconditioning goals, results, and problems with the operations manager.
• Assisting manager in monitoring and evaluating employee job performance and conducting performance appraisals.
• Using management tools to track production and post charges.
• Leading by example and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
• Monitoring and controlling the use of supplies, materials, and equipment for the recon shop.
• Enforcing all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
