Job summary

The Cox Automotive – USA is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the mechanic shop and ensure work meets quality standards. You will lead a team, manage workloads, and collaborate with departments to maintain safe, efficient operations while delivering high-quality service and maintaining accurate vehicle records.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or higher, supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license; ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years in a related field or higher degrees as alternatives.
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years, Master's with 1 year, or PhD with up to 1 year in relevant areas.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Excellent supervisory, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of the mechanic shop to ensure vehicle inspections and repairs meet standards.
• Use management tools to track production and ensure charges are posted.
• Supervise the completion of work orders to keep accurate vehicle records.
• Approve and forward bills and invoices for timely billing.
• Develop shop staff through recruitment, training, and education opportunities.
• Plan, monitor, evaluate, and improve staffing and performance metrics.
