Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a hardworking individual to input accurate vehicle information for registration at the auction.

You will handle VINs, stock numbers, dealer IDs, make, model, year, mileage, color, and options, and affix barcode stickers on entry. You will also place work orders, associate OBDII tracking devices, and direct transporters to the correct drop zones while upholding safety procedures and working with safety leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
• Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information for registration into the system using a handheld computer.
• Record VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
• Associate and install OBDII tracking device.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following safety and health procedures.
• Support safety activities with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
