Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a VDC Specialist to lead BIM coordination and VDC workflows on active projects in the Philadelphia area. The role requires coordinating with design partners, trades, clients, and the VDC team on BIM execution plans and model-based deliverables.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in VDC/Architecture/Engineering or Construction Management with 4+ years of related experience and strong scripting skills in Dynamo/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field with 4+ years of experience or equivalent
• CM-BIM designation/continuing ed credits preferred
• Ability to read and interpret contract docs, drawings and schedules
• Knowledge of VDC industry standards, codes and specs
• Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination meetings with stakeholders and track actions
• Coordinate VDC processes and BIM execution plans
• Prepare and review BIM coordination, submittals and RFIs
• Develop constructive solutions for constructability issues on site
• Create model-based takeoffs, 4D modeling and production tracking
• Engage in continuous improvement and deploy new VDC tools
