Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a skilled VDC specialist to lead BIM coordination on construction projects on-site in Philadelphia, PA. You will review models, manage VDC workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design intent is executed accurately.

Requires a Bachelor’s in VDC or related field with 4+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, plus scripting skills in Dynamo and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) or related technology, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management with minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent
• Attain and maintain continuing education credits for CM-BIM designation, preferred
• Able to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes and schedule
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and specifications related to VDC
• Professional verbal and written communication, able to engage with stakeholders
• Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to manage competing demands
• Basic scripting/coding skills (Dynamo, Python)
• Proficient with BIM tools: Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, ACC
• Familiar with animation/Reality Capture tools (Lumion, ReCap) and related software

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC processes and review design models for construction projects on-site
• Coordinate BIM processes and manage meetings with stakeholders
• Track action items, support communication for VDC team and submittals
• Prepare and review BIM coordination process, submittals, and RFIs
• Develop constructability solutions and communicate effective resolutions
• Support BIM execution plans and 4D modeling, schedule sequencing
• Explore innovative VDC tools and capture lessons learned for improvement
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
