Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a VDC/BIM-focused professional to lead virtual design and construction efforts on Philadelphia-area projects. The role collaborates with design partners, trades, and clients to coordinate BIM workflows, review models, and drive on-site constructability solutions.

Responsibilities include coordinating VDC meetings, managing RFIs and submittals, and developing BIM execution plans with Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCAD proficiency. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field with minimum 4 years of related experience.
• CM-BIM designation credits are preferred.
• Able to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and specifications related to VDC.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Basic scripting/coding skills (e.g., Dynamo, Python).
• Familiar with BIM tools and related software such as Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD and ACC.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC processes and review design models for construction projects on site.
• Coordinate BIM/VDC meetings, track actions, and support project communications.
• Perform VDC engineering tasks including BIM coordination, submittals, and RFIs.
• Compile quantity variance reports for estimating and change management.
• Develop presence on site to resolve constructability issues and communicate solutions.
• Collaborate with VDC team to execute BIM coordination schedules.
• Implement BIM execution plans using related software and tools.
• Explore and deploy innovative VDC tools in a controlled environment.
