Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Leader to oversee BIM processes for projects of varying scopes and complexity. You will guide the VDC team, ensure adherence to Turner Digital Build standards, and optimize modeling workflows across disciplines.

You will mentor, coach, and lead the VDC project team, aligning BIM planning, tools, and processes with project constraints while maintaining data integrity and collaboration with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field; minimum 6 years of related experience.
• CM-BIM designation preferred.
• Able to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Thorough knowledge of VDC tools, applications, and coordination principles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM field operations and engineering processes for multiple projects.
• Lead VDC team and align with Turner Digital Build standards.
• Plan BIM tools and processes based on job constraints.
• Provide QC of quantity variance reports for estimating and change management.
• Mentor VDC project team and drive project launch activities.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and schedule Impact.
• Communicate BIM changes to scheduling team and stakeholders.
• Enforce model use contracts and data integrity.
