SMF Minonk, part of Etnyre International, is seeking a Value Stream Leader to drive daily production and coach a team in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment in Minonk, IL. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in heavy metal fabrication, with welding expertise.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership in a manufacturing production environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing production demands.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing employees by communicating expectations and coaching performance.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members while creating growth opportunities.
• Monitor production workflows for efficiency, quality, on-time delivery.
• Schedule and assign work to meet daily production and shipping needs.
• Troubleshoot production and technical issues; support employees with tools and resources.
• Maintain understanding of departmental processes and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and quality standards.
• Promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Champion workplace safety and proper equipment use.
• Assist with hands-on manufacturing operations as needed.
