SMF, part of Etnyre International, is seeking a Value Stream Leader to drive production excellence in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This leadership role focuses on coaching teams, maintaining safety and quality, and delivering on-time production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in heavy metal fabrication with welding.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Partner with the Value Stream Manager to train, mentor, and develop team members while creating opportunities for growth. Monitor production workflows to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. Schedule and assign work to meet daily production and shipping requirements. Troubleshoot production and technical issues while supporting employees with tools, equipment, and resources. Maintain a strong understanding of departmental processes, equipment, and operational procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance workflows. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and employee engagement. Champion workplace safety by enforcing safety regulations, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring proper use of equipment and resources.
