Job summary

M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Chilton, seeks a Value Stream Manager to lead fabrication operations, manage inventory for a cell, and collaborate with engineering to meet print requirements. You will drive lean initiatives, optimize TAKT performance, and oversee safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise a team, train staff, and coordinate with the quality department to ensure continuous improvements and efficient production flow from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing experience with TAKT times.
• Able to learn and lead Lean activities within the organization.
• Proficient with ERP systems (Windchill, Epicor) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers in the fabrication department for assembly of M-B vehicles, attachments, and sub-components.
• Manages inventory for the cell and ensures parts and tools are on hand.
• Collaborates with engineering to meet print requirements and address non-conforming parts.
• Works with stockroom to minimize inventories and streamline material movement.
• Reduces operating costs by monitoring workforce timekeeping, efficiency, and updating job order standards.
• Interviews, trains, and directs staff, enforcing policies and resolving issues in collaboration with management and quality.
