Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring a Valet Services Supervisor at National Harbor, Maryland. You will lead a team of valet and guest service professionals, ensuring outstanding service, safety, and smooth traffic flow across the property.

You will train staff, manage performance, address guest issues, and uphold service standards while coordinating with security and management as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least one (1) year of prior relevant experience as a supervisor in a customer service environment.
• Prior experience in valet or transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the valet services team to include efficient staffing, employee development and training, performance management and policy enforcement
• Supervise the valet and guest service employees, ensure employees are properly trained and follow established safety standards
• Conducts periodic inspections of valet-designated parking areas
• Lead the pre-shift meetings for valet/guest service employees
• Compensate guests within, for service-related inconveniences
• Responsible for necessary staffing adjustments in order to properly accommodate guest
• Regulate the movement and flow of traffic to ensure the casino provides efficient and effective guest services and avoids traffic congestion and delays
• Respond effectively to guest inquiries providing excellent guest service
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of unusual events
