Job summary

The Barfield, Autograph Collection in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a Valet Captain to support the Front Office Manager and oversee professional parking operations. This non-exempt role focuses on delivering superior guest service and coordinating valet activities for the property.

Responsibilities include supervising valet staff, maintaining the front drive, and ensuring accurate sign-in/out and ticketing processes while upholding safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of Valet or Professional Parking experience.
• 2+ years in Valet and/or Parking role.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison to parking patrons and various clientele.
• Aid and assist security with communications with local police and emergency management.
• Ensure valet curators are signed in and cars are properly marked in the system.
• Oversee front drive traffic and rotation of parking/pulling cars.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of front drive; restock supplies as needed.
• Audit keys and garage; ensure cars are parked and tickets marked correctly.
• Review radio logs to verify sign-in/out of radios.
