Job summary

Merck is seeking a Vaccine Customer Representative to support healthcare providers with clinical vaccine information, education, and resources. You will be the primary contact in your geography, coordinating with account executives and delivery teams to optimize immunization rates and contract performance.

The role involves field-based engagement across clinics, hospitals, and health systems, requires travel, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 0–3 years Sales experience or High School Diploma with 4+ years in professional sales/ healthcare field.
• Experience in marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field considered relevant.
• Demonstrated aptitude, strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in balanced product sales presentations with healthcare providers and professionals.
• Update customers on vaccine management and contract adherence to improve outcomes.
• Educate customers using scientific, product, and marketplace information.
• Use analytical skills to discuss quarterly business reviews and contract performance.
• Help customers improve immunization rates through quality-based programs.
• Monitor business performance using company tools and resources.
• Develop territory-level business plans to improve immunization rates.
• Maintain knowledge of vaccine portfolio and CDC immunization schedule.
