Job summary

Merck's Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) supports providers by delivering clinical vaccine information, education, and resources to optimize immunization rates and contract adherence across assigned geographies.

As the primary contact for healthcare entities, you will engage physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators, conduct quarterly business reviews, and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize contract performance while advancing patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years Sales experience OR a minimum of High School Diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel roughly 25% within the territory and reside in or near the territory.

Responsibilities

• Engage healthcare providers with balanced vaccine presentations aligned to labeling and CDC recommendations.
• Provide vaccine management updates to improve patient outcomes and contract adherence.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to educate customers on maximizing contract performance.
• Develop territory-level business plans to improve immunization rates for assigned accounts.
