Merck is seeking a Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) to support customers by providing clinical information on vaccines, education, and resources. You will be the primary contact for diverse healthcare customers within your geography, including clinics, health departments, and hospitals, coordinating with cross-functional teams to maximize contract performance and improve patient immunization rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years Sales experience OR high school diploma with 4+ years relevant work experience (pharma/healthcare sales preferred).
• Valid Driver's license required.
• Travel up to 25% as per territory needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with health care providers and business professionals to present vaccine attributes and optimize contract performance.
• Provide education and resources to improve patient immunization rates and contract adherence.
• Gather customer insights and stay informed on clinical, market, and CDC guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to outline customer strategy for interactions and relationships.
• Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools.
• Develop territory-level business plans to improve immunization rates within assigned accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of CDC immunization schedule for pediatric and adult vaccines.
