Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Vaccine Account Representative (VAR) to engage pharmacies, medical groups, and physician offices.

The role supports population health initiatives and aligns products with customer needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and US regulations. The position reports to the CTL, National Retail Pharmacy Sales Team, and collaborates with Vaccine Field Sales and Pharmacy Account Executive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years pharma sales or 6+ years related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong time management and organizational skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts, contracting, and review contracts and vaccine programs with stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of contract terms and optimize vaccine purchases and inventory for offices and vaccination goals.
• Establish and track account performance metrics to adjust plans and tasks.
• Apply knowledge of vaccines, protocols, and value propositions to support care standards.
• Manage supply, product transition, and back-order communications with customers.
