Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to conduct VA Compensation & Pension evaluations as a non-treatment, evaluation-focused role. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the chance to supplement income with structured, predictable workloads.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license.
• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) or equivalent degrees listed in the ad.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.
• Comfortable performing objective, fact-based evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations based on VA guidelines.
• Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized testing protocols.
• Gather relevant history through focused, objective interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and related clinical documentation as required.
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports in VA-required formats.
• Provide factual, unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes.
• Complete and submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.
