This is a project-specific assignment expected to last six months to one year.

What you will be doing:

As a Right of Way Agent, you will acquire easements for a large renewable energy project supporting the Project Manager or project team. Responsibilities include preparing real estate documents, conducting property research, and communicating with property owners for right of way acquisition. You will also handle administrative tasks such as preparing legal documents, reports, attending meetings, data entry, and customer communication.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Manages deadlines and prioritizes effectively.
  • Has a responsible and organized approach to work.
  • Is approachable and comfortable interacting with diverse individuals.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Is a problem solver with attention to detail and negotiation skills.
  • Works independently and as part of a team.
What we are offering:
  • Generous base pay
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401K and disability coverage
  • Holidays and paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional training
  • Wellness support through Calm Membership
  • Recognition programs, growth opportunities, and a family-friendly environment
  • Stable and steady work
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least one year of Right of Way acquisitions experience, including renewable energy projects
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Dropbox or equivalent)
  • Smartphone (iOS or Android) to access ORC systems
  • Valid Driver's License

Relocation assistance is not provided.

ORC is a leading right-of-way acquisition firm, involved in renewable energy projects like wind and solar. We value objectivity and integrity in our employees, prohibiting conflicts of interest such as performing services for clients outside of work hours.

Physical requirements include proficiency in English, frequent communication, computer use, and occasional outdoor travel, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
