Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will enable demonstrations, guide field trials, and translate operator needs into product roadmaps.

The role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with a 100% remote work option depending on location. A security clearance within 15 months is required or achievable.

Qualifications

• BS/advanced degree in a related field with 2–5 years in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense tech roles.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios and IP-based routing.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Support USSOCOM capability gap analyses and translate needs into radio solutions.
• Lead technical planning, network configuration, and field trials with end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate across Engineering and Business Development to align product roadmaps.
• Prepare and present technical demonstrations for USSOCOM stakeholders.
• Triage field feedback and translate it into actionable roadmap inputs.
• Coordinate with SOF PEOs and component commands for integration efforts.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and laboratories.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
