Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with SOCOM requirements and to lead field demonstrations and network designs.

Reporting to Applications Engineering, you will support field trials, roadmap inputs, and collaboration across engineering and business development, with up to 50% travel to customer sites and remote-work options depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Citizen due to clients under U.
• Practical experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++) for test automation.

Mansioni

• Bridge technical radio frequency capabilities with USSOCOM customer requirements and trends.
• Demonstrate interoperability, low-signature performance, and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to align solutions with strategic priorities.
