Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will support the Applications Engineering team in demonstrations, trials, and field tests across multi-domain environments.

You will travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs, engage with stakeholders, and help shape product roadmaps through operational feedback and technical insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map operational needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and oversee live field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures via testing and benchmarking data.
• Support Business Development with technical requirements for proposals.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites, labs, and field testing environments.
