Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements and emerging trends.

You will collaborate with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability, field-readiness, and low-signature performance of the StreamCaster MANET radios across multi-domain environments, with up to 50% travel and a remote-work option depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles.
• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years relevant technical/defense experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. citizenship is required for positions involving government contracts.
• All employment contingent on successful background check and drug test.

Mansioni

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map operational needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Support network configuration and live-on-the-air field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to use testing and benchmarking data to verify architectures are sound.
• Align with Business Development to support technical needs and priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for low-signature, tactical edge needs of USSOCOM commands.
• Provide input for RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end network architectures.
• Perform market research on potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders and S&T leads to translate field needs into roadmap inputs.
• Travel 50% to customer sites, labs, and field environments.
