Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking a National Security Programs Development Manager to support the USG Sales team in shaping and capturing U.S. government business opportunities.

The ideal candidate has space systems experience and interacts with Government program managers, senior decision makers, industry partners, and stakeholders. The role involves developing materials, leading proposal activities, tracking programs, assessing competitors, and expanding Astranis offerings for USG

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in engineering or hard science.
• At least 5 years of experience in field operations, engineering, program management, corporate strategy, or USG sales/business development.
• Working knowledge of USG intelligence and special operations communities.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 40% of time.
• Strong motivation to form product offerings to expand USG market share.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• US Citizen.
• Eligible to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Less than 5 years since previously active TS//SCI Security Clearance.
• Willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support the USG Sales team in shaping and capturing government opportunities.
• Develop materials to support customer interactions and alignment with space users.
• Lead proposal activities including capture/volume leadership and writing of proposals.
• Improve awareness of Astranis solutions within USG space communities; identify key decision-makers.
• Track USG programs, budgets, and industry activity in collaboration with government relations.
• Assess competitor capabilities to understand competitiveness across USG and commercial markets.
