Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. in the US is seeking a Director, National Security Program Development to help the USG Sales team shape and capture government opportunities.

The ideal candidate has space systems experience as both a user and developer within Intelligence and Special Operations communities. You will interact with government managers, senior leaders, industry partners, and Astranis teams; lead proposals, define requirements, and track programs and budgets.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Willing to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of time.
• USG intelligence and special operations communities knowledge.
• 5+ years in field ops, engineering, PM, strategy, or USG sales/business development.

Responsibilities

• Support building relationships with Intelligence and Special Operations customers and USG sales teams.
• Develop materials for customer interactions (talking papers, briefings).
• Shape requirements aligning Astranis capabilities with space users in USG communities.
• Lead or support proposal activities (capture, proposal manager, volume lead).
• Track USG programs, budgets, and industry participation with consultants.
• Identify partnerships to expand Astranis systems capabilities and access to USG pursuits.
