Job summary

Astranis in California seeks a US Government Capture Operations Analyst to join our fast-paced government growth team. You will manage the pipeline, coordinate with BD and capture, and help craft responses for opportunities.

Responsibilities include monitoring federal portals (SAM.gov, NASA Spires), preparing capability statements, and coordinating proposals and trade show activities. Strong communication, detail-oriented data handling, and travel up to 25% are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in business administration, operations, or engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in business development support, technical sales, operations, or other administrative role, preferably within the government contracting sector.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to draft professional marketing copy and correspond effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Hyper-focused attention to detail, particularly regarding data entry, document formatting, and compliance checking.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 25% of time
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Responsibilities

• Pipeline & CRM Data Management: Maintain and update the Astranis’s Business Development pipeline and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure all opportunity data, contact information, and review statuses are accurate and current.
• Solicitation Monitoring & Research: Actively monitor federal procurement portals for new solicitations, RFIs, Sources Sought notices, and industry days relevant to Astranis’s capabilities, disseminating findings to the appropriate Capture and BD leads.
• Marketing & Communications Support: Assist in drafting, editing, and producing customer responses and marketing materials tailored for US Government audiences.
• Proposal Management Assistance: Support the Proposal Manager and Capture Manager during the proposal lifecycle. Assist with proposal management, compliance matrix development, data call coordination, section authoring, and logistical support for color team reviews.
• Logistical & Event Coordination: Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items for capture strategy sessions and executive gate reviews. Manage logistics and scheduling for industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits.
