Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. in San Francisco seeks a Director of USG Capture Management to lead end-to-end capture for federal opportunities. You will coordinate with engineering, pricing, and proposal teams to develop competitive, compliant offerings and shepherd them through bid processes.

The ideal candidate has deep federal procurement knowledge, a technical satellite background, and a proven record of winning complex space programs. US citizenship or lawful status is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering or hard science.
• 8+ years in engineering, program management, corporate strategy, or USG sales/business development.
• Federal-level capture/proposal management or government acquisition experience.
• Broad knowledge of government space community and related programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of capture plans for targeted US Government opportunities.
• Collaborate with BD to evaluate opportunities and align with growth objectives.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and price-to-win analysis.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships to build coalitions.
• Guide opportunities through internal executive reviews and secure Bid/No-Bid decisions.
• Lead transition from capture to proposal, translating strategy into proposal narratives.
