Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Director of USG Capture Management to lead the end-to-end capture lifecycle for US Government opportunities. You will orchestrate engineers, pricing, and proposal managers to develop compliant, persuasive offerings and transition captures into proposals.

Ideal candidates have deep understanding of federal procurement, satellite systems, and a proven track record of winning complex space programs.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in engineering or hard science required.
• 8+ years in engineering, program management, corporate strategy, or USG sales/business development.
• Federal-level capture/proposal management or government acquisition experience.
• Broad knowledge of government space community and related programs.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture Strategy & Planning: lead capture plans, win themes, and value propositions.
• Business Development Collaboration: align with BD to assess opportunities and intelligence.
• Competitive Intelligence: conduct assessments and PTW analysis.
• Teaming Strategy: identify and negotiate strategic partnerships.
• Reviews & Milestone Management: present business cases and secure bids.
• Proposal Leadership: guide transition from capture to proposal and author sections.
