Job summary

McCarthy Auto Group is seeking a Used Car Manager to drive used vehicle sales growth and lead the team to operational success in a fast-paced environment. You will forecast store sales, manage inventory, and oversee deal submissions to lenders with credit decisions and closings.

You will hire, train, and motivate the sales staff, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and participate in sales/manager meetings while handling additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years used car management experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years used car experience required.
• Proven ability to source used vehicles beyond normal trade-ins.
• Knowledge of dealership procedures.

Responsibilities

• Appraise used vehicles and forecast store sales goals.
• Maintain and source used vehicle inventory for the dealership.
• Desk and submit deals to lenders for approval; make credit decisions and close deals.
• Hire, train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet goals.
• Ensure all deals comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Attend sales and manager meetings.
• Other tasks as assigned.
