Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Director of Business Development to lead the US Air Force account and drive end‑to‑end BD across programs and capture activities. You will align NGMS divisions and capture teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.

You will manage a high‑visibility portfolio, building a sector‑level pipeline and engaging senior officials. This role requires local presence or hybrid telework options at Linthicum, MD, or other VA/NC locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 10+ years in defense‑sector business development/capture.
• 5+ years leading large, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Deep knowledge of DoD/USAF acquisition and/or operational processes.
• Excellent executive briefing and influencing skills.
• US Citizenship; active Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP clearance.

Responsabilités

• Manage the US Air Force account as the primary BD lead; grow objectives and pipeline.
• Lead end‑to‑end account lifecycle from shaping to post‑award stewardship.
• Integrate NGMS divisions and capture teams to present a unified value proposition.
• Develop executive relationships with AF leadership and key centers.
• Prioritize pursuits with rigorous win strategies and budgeting.
• Coordinate with Capture Leadership to enable proposal readiness and price‑to‑win.
• Prepare briefs for sector leadership with concise decisions.
