Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Director of Business Development to join the Strategic Customer Engagement team in NGMS. You will act as the primary interface with the US Air Force, directing end-to-end account management and coordinating with capture teams to align portfolios with Air Force priorities.

Applicants should have 10+ years in defense BD/capture, 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams, DoD acquisition knowledge, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in defense-sector BD/capture or military experience.
• 5+ years leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
• Deep knowledge of DoD/USAF acquisition and/or operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage US Air Force account as primary BD lead; ensure growth objectives, pipeline health, and strong customer relations.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle from early shaping to post-award stewardship; align NGMS with customer priorities.
• Coordinate with Capture Leadership and BUs to shape strategies and enable proposal readiness.
