Job description

Position Summary...

What you'll do...
  1. Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
  2. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  3. Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives.
  4. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  5. Manage and support customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.
  6. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and lead process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  7. Drive financial performance of the store area by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  8. Monitor merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; develop strategies to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals.
  9. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
  10. Set clear expectations, recognize associates, communicate effectively, and ensure diversity and inclusion are prioritized.
  11. Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and building accountability.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, supporting the company's mission and values.
  13. Promote a culture of respect, belonging, and continuous learning, building high-performing teams that embrace diversity.
  14. Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics, modeling company values, and supporting a culture of transparency and accountability.
  15. Serve customers by delivering results, making data-driven decisions, and considering the needs of all stakeholders.
  16. Strive for excellence by fostering curiosity, resilience, and continuous improvement, supporting technological and skill development.
