Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do:

  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
  • Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.
  • Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
  • Coordinates supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing staff.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and possibly regional pay zones based on location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Additional requirements include passing background checks for firearms or ammunition sales, attending and completing all required trainings, and meeting specific state requirements where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related fields, and experience supervising multiple direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
