It includes communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The position also involves introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear expectations, and implementing business solutions. Demonstrating exceptional customer service standards and managing customer service initiatives are key responsibilities. The role requires developing action plans to address deficiencies, ensuring high-quality customer experiences, and driving financial performance by managing profit and loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. It also entails supervising and developing associates, ensuring compliance with policies, and promoting a culture of belonging and integrity. The position emphasizes serving customers, continuous improvement, and supporting Walmart's mission and values. The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus additional compensation based on performance and location.
Two years of college; or 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; or 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training is required. All associates must attend and complete required training and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
