Candidates should have 2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. For stores selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific background check and training is required. Other requirements include attending and completing all job-related training and assessments.
Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership, a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
