Base pay range

$31.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Position Summary

What you'll do... Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved, develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies, and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Additional Responsibilities
  1. Drives financial performance by reviewing and evaluating PL (Profit & Loss) statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, operational processes, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
  2. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes diversity and inclusion, recruiting and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
  3. Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and builds accountability for achieving results.
  4. Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, supports the company mission, and promotes a culture of belonging and respect for individuals.
  5. Acts with integrity, maintains high standards of ethics, and models Walmart values to foster a positive culture, accountability, and community involvement.
  6. Delivers results by focusing on customer needs, making data-driven decisions, and balancing short and long-term priorities.
  7. Encourages continuous learning, innovation, and resilience, supporting others through change and technological adoption.
Benefits and Compensation

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, health benefits, 401(k), stock purchase plans, paid time off, and other perks like education benefits through Live Better U, which covers tuition, books, and fees. The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential as required by law, with additional bonuses based on performance and location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail and supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience with supervisory experience. Additional requirements include successful completion of job-specific trainings and assessments, and, for certain facilities, background checks or certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership, or certifications in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5+ direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.
