Job description

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

  1. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
  2. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  3. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  4. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  5. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
  6. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  7. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit and Loss statements.
  8. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  9. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  10. Builds high-performing teams, embraces differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences.
  11. Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
  12. Delivers results while putting the customer first and considers and adapts to how, where, and when customers shop.
  13. Displays curiosity and a desire to learn, takes calculated risks, and demonstrates courage and resilience.

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position:

  1. 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  2. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
  3. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  2. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
