Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicates business objectives to teams effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, such as store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, recognizes associates, and promotes diversity and inclusion. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and measuring progress. Identifies improvement opportunities and demonstrates adaptability and continuous learning.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46, plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation includes bonuses and, depending on the role, regional pay zones.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Facilities selling only ammunition may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must complete all required training and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports with responsibilities including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
